What’s happening?

- Meet 300+ single Muslims in Houston, Texas

- Meet even number of local single Muslim men and women, ages 20-45.

- 3-4 minutes conversation with opposite gender.

- Mingle with Singles, socialize, and participate in fun icebreaker activities that will help you get to know other attendees.

Why is it happening?

How Muslim matchmaking, meetups, speed dating, and networking being done are outdated. Our events are much better than meeting singles through matchmakers or going to a typical matrimonial or matchmaking event.

We, at Proposal, use unique approaches and concepts. Let’s just say that we have raised the bar in the industry, as well as changed the entire face of Muslim Matchmaking and meetups. We provide a safe, fun, relaxed, and friendly environment that is culturally accepted and adheres to Islamic principles.

How it works?

We keep it chic, engaging, and fun. Once everyone is in attendance and settled in, we like to start our speed dating event with a little icebreaker game to warm everyone up with fun activities. Perhaps a bit of trivia or a game of two truths and a lie?

We may put you in groups to play an icebreaker activity where guys will be provided with ten blue swan stickers and girls will be provided with ten pink swan stickers.

After the icebreakers are finished, let’s start speed dating! You will be seated in front of a potential match with 3-4 minutes to get to know one another. Feel free to talk about anything that matters to you the most, but we recommend you keep it lighthearted, fun, and professional. Once time is up, the ladies remain seated, and the gents move down a spot and take a seat at the table of their next potential match.

Remember to take time at the start of each date to write down your potential match’s name and, at the end, share your profile by using the Proposal QR code, if you feel it was a good match or not.

Once you’ve spoken to everyone, that’s it, you’re done for the day. However, just because the event is over doesn’t mean your night has to be! Feel free to stay for a drink and bites. Kick back, relax, and maybe chat further with some of the other matches from our speed dating event.
