Proposal Invite Only Single Muslims Event

Something different is happening in Muslim matchmaking.

Muslims are looking for smaller, intentional spaces focused on real conversations, serious intentions, and meaningful connections.

That’s exactly why we started our invite-only events.
What started as a simple idea, creating smaller, more curated spaces for serious Muslim singles, has now turned into something much bigger.

And Vancouver proved it.

Over 130 Applications. Only 70 were accepted.

When applications opened for Proposal’s Vancouver invite-only singles event, the response surprised even us.

More than 130 Muslims applied to attend.

But unlike traditional networking mixers or open-entry speed dating events, Proposal intentionally kept the experience smaller and more curated. Only 70 applicants were accepted in order to create an environment focused on genuine conversations, intentionality, and quality interactions.

This wasn’t about packing a room.

It was about creating the right room.

Why Invite-Only?

Over the past few years, we’ve hosted events across different cities and spoken to thousands of Muslims navigating modern matchmaking.

One thing became very clear:

People are emotionally exhausted.

Many singles are tired of:

• endless swiping
• unclear intentions
• surface-level conversations
• emotionally draining talking stages
• apps that feel more like entertainment than intentional matchmaking

The invite-only model was created in response to that reality.

Instead of large public events where everyone walks in without structure or alignment, Proposal’s invite-only experiences are designed to feel more intentional, respectful, and curated from the beginning.

A Different Energy

The Vancouver event had a completely different atmosphere.

People came prepared for real conversations.

There was less pressure to “perform” and more focus on connection, values, compatibility, and serious intentions. The smaller format allowed attendees to feel more comfortable, more present, and more open to meaningful interaction.

That’s the direction Proposal is moving toward:
intentional spaces for Muslims who are genuinely serious about marriage.

More Than Just Events

Proposal is not simply building events.

We’re building a community and ecosystem around intentional Muslim matchmaking.

From large-scale singles experiences to smaller invite-only gatherings, our goal is to create spaces that help Muslims connect in healthier, more meaningful ways, both online and in person.

And the response so far has shown us something important:

Muslims are actively looking for something different.

What’s Next?

With Vancouver applications exceeding expectations, Proposal is preparing for more invite-only experiences in additional cities.

Calgary is next, or New York

And after that?

Possibly more cities across Canada, the United States, and beyond.
